Andrea Lloyd PTA
Physical Therapy
Winchester VA
Andrea received her associate’s degree as a licensed physical therapist assistant in 2012 from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Andrea has worked in an array of clinical settings including outpatient, assisted living, long-term care, and home health- all of which make her a well-rounded clinician. She specializes in hands-on manual therapy techniques, orthopedic conditions with an emphasis on post operative procedures, and is passionate about working with the geriatric population. Andrea thrives on helping patients make progress. She loves to watch her patients gain the confidence they need to return to activities they couldn’t do prior to starting their therapy journey. It’s easy to see the excitement Andrea’s face when a patient meets a goal- whether it be a small or large milestone.
After nearly a decade of being out of school, Andrea decided to return to college to pursue her love for learning. In 2022, she graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University with her Bachelor of Science in Community Health. Andrea is not finished with her academic endeavors and plans to earn her master’s degree to become a physician assistant in the future.
When Andrea isn’t busying herself with her professional career and scholarly undertakings, she enjoys spending time with her cats, riding motorcycles, playing in the river, going on adventures, and surrounding herself with the people who mean the most to her.
