Dr. Jenna Carter is a passionate healthcare professional dedicated to helping individuals restore

movement, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. With a well-rounded background

in athletic training, teaching, and physical therapy, she brings a patient-centered and evidence-

based approach to care.

 

Dr. Carter earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of

Wisconsin–Eau Claire. During her undergraduate career, she completed thousands of clinical

hours working with collegiate and high school athletes, focusing on injury prevention,

rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols. She also served her local community through

emergency medical response at events and volunteered at a therapeutic equestrian facility,

helping individuals with disabilities gain independence and confidence through horseback riding.

She continued her academic journey at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, earning a

Master of Arts in Teaching while serving as a Certified Athletic Trainer. In this role, she

provided medical coverage for Men’s and Women’s Soccer and Baseball teams, including

support during national tournament appearances.

 

Dr. Carter went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St.

Augustine for Health Sciences, where she graduated with honors. Her professional development includes specialized training in pelvic floor therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association’s Pelvic Health Academy. Her strong clinical interest in treating low back pain and orthopedic injuries forms the foundation of her integrated and effective approach to pelvic health rehabilitation.

 

In addition to her core specialties, Dr. Carter is certified in Dry Needling and Graston Technique,

further enhancing her ability to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions with precision

and care. These advanced manual therapy techniques allow her to provide comprehensive,

individualized treatment plans that target pain, mobility limitations, and soft tissue dysfunction.

 

Dr. Carter is known for her approachable demeanor, clinical expertise, and unwavering

dedication to improving the lives of her patients. Whether working with athletes, individuals

facing chronic pain, or patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, she is committed to delivering

compassionate, evidence-informed care that supports long-term wellness and recovery.
