Tony Moulder is a physical therapist. He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at
Shenandoah University. Tony graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors degree
in Biological and Cultural Anthropology. During his time at Shenandoah University he was
involved in many leadership and service roles with Adaptive Aquatics, Primary Care Progress
and VPTA. Tony was able to travel to Kenya and Nicaragua for medical mission trips as a
physical therapy student. Upon graduating from Shenandoah University he has worked in the
geriatric setting earning Board Certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy, GCS. Since
graduating Tony has had experience in being an adjunct faculty member within the Shenandoah
University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, clinical instruction, quality assurance liaison,
and mentoring clinicians in a multidisciplinary setting. He also went on to publish his physical
therapy school graduate research in the Journal of Physical Therapy Education. Tony has a
passion for treating patients with balance deficits, chronic pain, and deconditioning from a
variety of chronic diseases. He is passionate about educating patients on their conditions and
the importance of self management.
Tony is a Florida native, but currently resides in the Shenandoah Valley and enjoys the four
seasons, mountains, and beautiful scenery. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and
dog, hiking, biking, organic gardening, running, traveling and writing.
