Anna Blue Catlett received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2019. She then went on to Shenandoah University to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, graduating in 2023.
She started her undergraduate career playing Division 2 basketball at Harding University in Arkansas and then transferred to Virginia Tech, where she was a member of the Club Basketball team. During her time as a student-athlete, she tore her ACL and underwent a long rehabilitation process which sparked her interest in becoming a sports physical therapist. She quickly became passionate for the sports community, specifically bridging the gap between rehab and performance for high school and college athletes.
Anna Blue participated in a post-graduate sports residency program at The National Sports Medicine Institute in Northern Virginia. During her residency, she worked hands-on with Orthopedic Surgeons who specialize in sports-related injuries, observed multiple surgeries, and completed over 200 hours of field-coverage for high school and college sports. During her year-long residency, She treated a highly sports-focused population, including ACL rehabilitation which she quickly grew a special interest in.
When she is not working, she is working out, traveling, making memories with family and friends, or attending sporting events.
