Christian Conaway, PT, DPT

Christian grew up in Southern California and then graduated from Brigham Young University in
2017 earning his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. He then earned his Doctorate of Physical
Therapy from Campbell University in 2021 and has resided in Fuquay Varina, NC with his family
since 2018.
Christian is certified in Functional Dry Needling through Evidence in Motion. He enjoys restoring
mobility and function through manual therapy and personalized progressive exercise. Christian
also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Colombia and is
fluent in Spanish.
Christian was inspired to pursue Physical Therapy as a Freshman in college through working for
a family friend who had suffered a life altering stroke. He was able to learn that there is more to
a patient than their injury, and it is important to treat the person not just their diagnosis. He
gained experience at an out patient clinic treating various disorders such as Parkinson’s, hyper
mobility, and poor balance. He also enjoys working with active individuals looking to reduce pain
and improve performance.
In his free time Christian enjoys training in Brazilian Jiujitsu, weight lifting, smoking meats and
spending time watching sports and reality TV shows with his wife, Rachel. Two of his three
children have joined him in training in Brazilian Jiujitsu. Christian is an avid BYU sports fan,
loves Raiders’ football, and Dodgers baseball. Go Cougars!
