Stephanie earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, a Master’s degree in Adult Fitness from James Madison University, and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. Pursuing a growing interest in teaching, Stephanie completed the transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Shenandoah University (SU) in 2015. During that program, she had the opportunity to study vestibular rehabilitation—and a new fascination was born. She has since gone on to specialize in vestibular rehabilitation. In March 2023, she completed a rigorous vestibular rehabilitation postgraduate program co-sponsored by Duke University, which included internationally recognized faculty in the field.

Stephanie is currently an adjunct instructor for the SU PT and PA programs; lectures as a subject matter expert on wheelchair mobility, seating, and positioning; and serves as a clinical instructor for the SU Adaptive PT program. She has also traveled internationally, providing physical therapy in Tanzania, El Salvador, Haiti, and Guatemala.

Stephanie strives to engage every physical therapy patient by making treatment interesting, educational, and fun! There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a patient gain back quality of life and confidence.

She lives in Stephens City with her family and two crazy dogs. Her hobbies include sailboat racing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, running, hiking, reading, and baking.
