Donald Brown is a licensed physical therapist, board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and fellowship-trained manual therapist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care with over 5 years as a licensed physical therapist. His treatment approach combines evidence-based rehabilitation, advanced manual therapy, corrective exercise, and individualized strength and conditioning to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from South College and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with Honors Distinction from Winston-Salem State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Donald has developed a broad clinical background with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation, sports performance, return-to-activity care, and functional strength development.

Donald is fellowship-trained through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and holds advanced credentials including Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, Diploma in Osteopractic, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certifications in dry needling, spinal manipulation, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, blood flow restriction training, and vestibular/concussion rehabilitation.

Throughout his career, Donald has worked with patients of all ages and activity levels, from older adults recovering from surgery or injury to athletes returning to high-level performance. His background as a personal trainer and strength coach for almost two decades has shaped his clinical style, allowing him to bridge the gap between rehabilitation, performance, and long-term wellness.

As a clinic director, Donald has also led clinical operations, patient care, staff development, scheduling, marketing, and community outreach. He is passionate about creating a professional, results-driven environment where patients feel heard, educated, and actively involved in their recovery.

Donald’s care philosophy is rooted in clear communication, individualized treatment planning, and measurable progress. He believes that excellent physical therapy should not only reduce pain, but also help patients build confidence, improve resilience, and return to work, sport, family life, and the activities they enjoy most.

He has spent the last two decades living in and around Western North Carolina. He has been married to his wife Inna for 3 years.Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters and their dog Zeus, working out, reading research, attending conferences and workshops, traveling and trying new foods.
